Founded in 1984 in Pittsburgh, InventHelp is submitting the FISH HOOK RETRIEVER to companies in the hopes of their good faith review.

One of the most common drawbacks of fishing trips is the hassle of a snagged hook, but an inventor from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, wants to eliminate this problem. "A friend of mine is an avid fisherman, and he’s tired of losing fish hooks due to snags," the inventor said. "He thought of this idea but didn’t want to purse it any further, so he authorized me to develop it."

The patent-pending FISH HOOK RETRIEVER enables a user to retrieve a snagged fish hook. It prevents hassle and struggle, as well as saves time and effort. It also reduces wastage of hooks and the need for replacements, which saves money.

Compact, portable, ergonomic, easy to use and producible in different sizes and designs, the FISH HOOK RETRIEVER is ideal for all fishing enthusiasts.

The original design was submitted to the Canada office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
