An inventor, from Waynesville, Ohio, thought there needed to be a way to protect a driver’s and passenger's heads in the event of a side collision, so he invented the patent-pending SELF APPLYING HELMET.
The SELF APPLYING HELMET enhances safety and protection. It provides an effective way to protect the driver’s and passenger’s heads during a side collision by absorbing forces. The invention features a secure design that is easy to install and use so it is ideal for vehicle owners. Additionally, the SELF APPLYING HELMET is producible in design variations and a prototype is available.
The inventor described the invention design. “This invention was inspired after I had to take care of a friend who got a head injury from a car accident. My design helps to reduce potential injuries by lessening the impact on a driver’s and passenger’s heads.”
The original design was submitted to the Cincinnati office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
