InventHelp, a leading inventor service company, is working to submit Side Window Shade to companies for their review.

Driving into the sun poses a challenge for drivers and passengers alike. While sun visors above the windshield help, they fall short when it comes to blocking sunlight coming through the side front windows. That’s exactly why an inventor from Ontario, Calif., decided to pursue an idea that would solve that problem.

He developed SIDE WINDOW SHADE to provide a quick, easy and safe way to block sun glare through the side windows of a car or light truck. As such, it eliminates discomfort, fatigue and eyestrain for both the driver and the passenger. Furthermore, it helps drivers keep focused on the road and their hands on the wheel. Improving highway safety, it lowers the number of motor vehicle accidents due to sun glare. At the same time, it reduces sun damage to the car. This innovative window screen is also sturdy, practical and easy to install and use. In addition, it is convenient, effective and affordably priced.

The inventor’s work experience inspired the idea. “When traveling in my company vehicle, I had no way to effectively block the sun glare through the side windows since the standard sun visors above the windshield, when pivoted to the side windows, reach only a limited area,” he said.

The original design was submitted to the Orange County office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
