Pittsburgh-based InventHelp® attempts to submit a person security invention, AWS Pro 1, to companies for review.

We were thinking about crime prevention, particularly home break-ins and kidnapping," said one of two inventors from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., "so we decided that there needed to be a convenient and effective security device for those who are out and about."

The AWS PRO 1 helps keep a user safe when away from home by alerting police to an assault or other emergency. It also allows for monitoring of a home and security-company alerts while on the go. As a result, it promotes safety and peace of mind. Compact, portable, easy to use and producible in many different versions, the device is ideal for children, the elderly, business owners and students.

The original design was submitted to the Hollywood office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
