Invisian Medical Receives Innovative Technology Contract from Vizient for Minne Ties® Agile MMF

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Nov. 12, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Invisian Medical today announced its Minne Ties® Agile MMF product line—a patent pending technology for jaw fixation related to fractures and other jaw surgeries—has received a 2019 Innovative Technology contract from Vizient, Inc., the largest member-driven health care performance improvement company in the country. The contract offers Vizient's members enhanced savings on the purchase of Minne Ties.

The Innovative Technology contract for Minne Ties was based on the recommendations of health care experts serving on a member-led council who interacted with the product shown at the Vizient Innovative Technology Exchange held on April 4, 2019. The council determined Minnie Ties has the potential to enhance clinical care, patient safety, health care worker safety or improve business operations of health care organizations.

Invented by surgeon Dr. Alan Johnson, Minne Ties Agile MMF offers a new, cost-effective method to rapidly, simply and safely achieve maxillomandibular fixation (MMF), which is required for treatment of jaw fractures and other jaw-related surgeries.
