The Beacon Council is the official economic development organization for Miami-Dade County that recognizes outstanding contributions to the economy in the areas of job creation, business expansion, corporate citizenship, and leadership in the financial services category.
The Beacon Awards are carefully selected and voted by a committee of Beacon Council chairpersons and business leaders whom review numerous nominations from organizations and individuals representing industry categories such as technology, life sciences, education, healthcare and tourism, among many.
