ISCC 2026 successfully brought together healthcare professionals to advance neuro-cardiac care, combining expert education, multidisciplinary collaboration, hands-on learning, and clinical exchange focused on complex stroke and cardiac conditions.
ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- eMedEd, with eMedEvents serving as the official partner for marketing, advertising, and registration, held the Innovations in Stroke and Cardiac Care (ISCC 2026) conference on September 26–27, 2026, at the Renaissance Orlando Resort and Spa in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
The hybrid CME/CE event brought together approximately 120 attendees, including specialists, physicians, and advanced practice providers, for two days of focused education, clinical discussion, and collaboration across stroke and cardiac care. Centered on the theme "Optimizing Collaborative Pathways", the conference featured expert-led sessions, interactive case-based discussions, multidisciplinary panels, and hands-on learning focused on emerging technologies, evidence-based care, and coordinated neuro-cardiac approaches. The exhibit hall added another dimension to the experience, with 40 exhibitors showcasing technologies, diagnostic tools, and solutions relevant to neurological and cardiovascular care.
The conference maintained a strong level of engagement throughout both days, with full participation from in-person attendees and active involvement from virtual participants. Clinicians across both formats asked case-driven questions, exchanged perspectives with faculty, and contributed to discussions addressing complex patient-care challenges. The combination of clinical education, practical learning, and professional interaction created an energetic environment centered on advancing collaborative approaches to neuro-cardiac care.
Across the two-day program, Co-chairs David Z. Rose, MD (Neurology) and Bibhu D. Mohanty, MD (Cardiology), Co-Directors of the Neuro-cardiac program at TGH, USF Morsani College of Medicine, helped lead discussions focused on collaborative neuro-cardiac care. The faculty addressed key topics including left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO), post-stroke ambulatory rhythm monitoring, cerebral microbleeds, carotid interventions, PFO closure, heart brain clinics, procedural stroke, along with Saibal Kar, MD; Jonathan Hsu, MD; Michael J. Rinaldi, MD; G. Abbas Kharal, MD; Swetha Renati, MD; Michol Cooper, MD, PhD; and William Scott Burgin, MD; among others. Advanced practice providers Andrea Bozeman, APRN; James O'Hara, PhD, DrPH, DMSc, PA-C, CCDS, FHRS; Elizabeth Remo, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC; Christie Gleason, APRN, and others also contributed to discussions on multidisciplinary neuro-cardiac care and pathways.
The program extended beyond traditional clinical sessions with practical, device-focused learning and opportunities for professional engagement. Attendees participated in hands-on education and explored innovations throughout the exhibit hall, while the conference also provided a platform for clinical exchange and collaboration across disciplines.
"ISCC 2026 demonstrated the importance of collaboration in advancing stroke and cardiac care. Bringing clinicians together from across disciplines created meaningful opportunities to address complex challenges, and ISCC 2027 will build on this foundation by continuing to foster connected, collaborative approaches to neuro-cardiac care," said Dr. Priya Korrapati, CEO, eMedEd.
"ISCC 2026 brought healthcare professionals together to share practical perspectives on complex neuro-cardiac conditions. The strong engagement throughout the conference reflected the importance of collaborative medical education, we look forward to building on this collaboration at ISCC 2027," said Dr. David Z. Rose and Dr. Bibhu D. Mohanty, Co-chairs of ISCC 2026.
ISCC 2026 provided 10 CME/MOC/CE credits and brought together healthcare professionals involved in evaluating and managing complex neurovascular and cardiovascular conditions. Through expert-led education, multidisciplinary discussion, case-based learning, hands-on sessions, and exhibitor engagement, the conference emphasized the value of connecting clinical perspectives to support coordinated neuro-cardiac care.
With ISCC 2026 setting the stage for continued collaboration, ISCC 2027 will bring healthcare professionals together once again to advance conversations in stroke and cardiac care, multidisciplinary education, and collaborative neuro-cardiac pathways. The next edition will offer a new opportunity to share clinical perspectives, explore emerging challenges, and translate evolving approaches into practical patient care.Explore ISCC 2027.
