Israeli Ambassador Ron Dermer to Speak in Liberty University Convocation on Feb. 19
Lynchburg, Va. (PRWEB) January 29, 2016 -- Ron Dermer, Israel’s Ambassador to the United States, will be the featured speaker in Liberty University’s Convocation on Friday, Feb. 19.
Before becoming Ambassador to the U.S., Dermer served as a senior advisor to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and as Israel’s Minister of Economic Affairs to the United States.
Dermer holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and Oxford University and has been a columnist for the Jerusalem Post. He is also a best-selling author.
Liberty’s Convocation is the world’s largest regular gathering of Christian young people, taking place in the Vines Center two to three times a week during the academic year. The event features speakers of national significance from every sphere of society.
