We have cultivated the value that our clients, our partners, our team, and our community can all win; and it has contributed to our success.

Istonish has received the inaugural 2019 Colorado Governor’s Minority Business Award. This award recognizes businesses that have contributed by fostering employment in Colorado in a manner that is inclusive and respectful, growing the Colorado economy by building a thriving company and giving back to the community by their activities. Awards were divided into four small business types: micro, small, medium, and large, and the state into four regions. Istonish received the large business award in Region 2 - Northeast Colorado.

Istonish has a long-standing track record of business success built on a foundation of inclusive gender and ethnic diversity hiring practices, career development of talented and motivated employees, and the cultivation of inclusion and cooperation. As a Technology company, Istonish has benefited from programs that the National Minority Supplier Development Council and the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council have sponsored to support the success of minority and women companies.

An essential value of Istonish and its founders is to give back to the community. Istonish has supported, the Nature Conservancy, Colorado Technology Association, Colorado Innovation Network, Visit Denver, and many others and invested in promising early-stage companies like Base Education. “It’s never been enough in my view for the business to do well and to pocket our success. It’s doing good with the idea in mind that somehow or another the benefits can be circulated back into our community,” said Annette Quintana Istonish CEO, “This award is particularly meaningful to me because it shines a spotlight on a way of doing business where everyone can win. We have cultivated the value that our clients, our partners, our team, and our community can all win; and it has contributed to our success. Given the significant growth in new businesses and the Colorado economy, it’s clear that this approach works.”
