The giving initiative, founded in 2019, has to date resulted in $9,000 in donations to worthy charities.
PHILADELPHIA, May 17, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- IT Solutions, a top-ranked Managed Service Provider for which "giving back" is part of its corporate philosophy, today announced that Garfield Park Academy will be the latest recipient of its Smiles for Success award. The donation will be made to GPA's "Go Play" Campaign and IT Solutions will present the Academy with $1,200 that was raised through the campaign.
The community service initiative, which began as a way for IT Solutions' leadership to show appreciation for the firm's own success, is driven in a unique way — through client input. Whenever an IT Solutions' client fills out a satisfaction survey, their effort generates a donation for one of IT Solutions' non-profit partners. To date, the $9,000 donated through Smiles for Success has benefited eight different non-profit organizations.
"When we founded IT Solutions, we were dedicated to delivering 'outside the box' of the traditional IT Service Provider model, and that dedication continues to this day," said IT Solutions President Garrett Graney. So far, IT Solutions has made donations to the following nonprofits: ALS Association of Greater Philadelphia, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) Foundation, Mattie N. Dixon Community Cupboard, Meg McGoldrick Better Together Fund at Abington - Jefferson Health Hospital, Partnership for Community Supports, Project HOME, The Wardrobe Philadelphia and Veterans Multi-Service Center (VMC).
IT Solutions has already announced that its next Smiles for Success recipient will be The Arc of Chester County. The advocacy organization is a leading provider of "lifetime services" for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities and their families.
