It’s The Most Wonderful Time of the Year
Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) December 12, 2013 -- While old Saint Nick is putting the final touches on his list and hopefully checking it twice, the Arizona Chapter of the International Furnishings and Design Association (IFDA AZ) is in its final stretch of collecting donations for the Child Crisis Center. All of the donations will be revealed during the IFDA AZ annual holiday party to be held December 17th at the Hotel Valley Ho. This donation drive is a continuation of the recent redesign and painting project volunteers completed in November.
IFDA Members and Industry Sponsors have been hard at work collecting donations for the last few months to support such a great organization that provides a safe environment for children to heal and simply leave their worries at the door. The Child Crisis Center, serving Metropolitan Phoenix, has sheltered over 13,000 children, engaged with and assisted thousands of families, and placed hundreds of children in foster care and adoptive environments since 1981.
The holiday party also serves as a platform to thank everyone in the design community for the difference they make in the lives of everyone they serve.
What: The IFDA AZ holiday party will be held at the Hotel Valley Ho, Tuesday, December 17, 2013 from 5:30pm until 8:30pm. An RSVP is required and guests are urged to bring an item from the general wish-list which can be found at http://tinyurl.com/nyjuzeb to further support the Child Crisis Center.
“We feel blessed to have healthy businesses and live in such a wonderful community,” said Karen Egan, 2013 Chapter President. “To be able to give back to and help those families and children in need, especially during this holiday season, is something we feel is important as an organization.”
Guests will enjoy an array of culinary samples from the renowned Café ZuZu along with the IFDA AZ’s own holiday crafted martini, aptly named “Blue Christmas”.
