Italian Wine Podcast takes it slow as official Media Partner of the Slow Wine Fair
Italian Wine Podcast attends Slow Wine Fair in Bologna as official Media Partner to the international fair dedicated to good, clean, and fair wine.
VERONA, Italy, March 1, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Slow Wine Fair, held at BolognaFiere from 26-28 February 2023, is the only international wine exhibition dedicated to good, clean, and fair wine. Now in its second edition, the Italian Wine Podcast attended this year's event as an official media partner. New features at the fair this year include a space dedicated to spirits and liqueurs and an area for sustainability partners offering technological solutions, tools, and services for the wine world.
A team of Italian Wine Podcast hosts and producers including Stevie Kim and Joy Livingston attended the three-day fair to meet with producers and learn more about the philosophy behind Slow Wine. Amongst the 694 producers in attendance, were a number of wineries identified as "Benchmark Producers" by the Italian wine textbook Italian Wine Unplugged 2.0. The Italian Wine Podcast took the opportunity to chat to a number of those producers for a future special edition of the Italian Wine Podcast.
Stevie Kim, founder of the Italian Wine Podcast, said: "It was a privilege to attend the Slow Wine Fair as an official media partner and to meet so many conscientious and innovative Italian wine producers. The Slow Food and Wine movement, produced locally, prepared with care, and consumed with appreciation, is of great interest and importance to listeners of the Italian Wine Podcast and we look forward to sharing these fascinating stories with our listeners."
Joy Livingston, producer of the Italian Wine Podcast, said: "Benchmark Producers are amongst those who best represent a particular grape or region. It was fantastic to catch up with so many of them at the Slow Wine Fair and to discuss what it means to be a Slow Wine producer."
The full series of interviews conducted at the Slow Wine Fair will be broadcast soon on the Italian Wine Podcast.
