J Wedge Partakes in The Running Event 2013
Austin, TX (PRWEB) November 26, 2013 -- Austin will soon be teeming with thousands of running industry professionals converging at this year’s The Running Event held at Austin Convention Center on December 3-6. This four day tradeshow not only provides educational seminars, but also hosts a massive expo consisting of approximately 250 running industry companies specializing in shoes, health, apparel, electronics, and more.
Developed by runner Mike Janzen and physical therapist Carolyn Janzen, the J Wedge was a creation of necessity. Mike, who had participated in various races ranging from one mile to marathons, developed a severe case of plantar fasciitis. Though he tried all of the mainstream treatments, including ice, massage, night splints and custom orthotics, none alleviated his pain. Therefore, the two decided to focus on stretching the fascia itself, and the J Wedge was created.
Using the J Wedge three times per day can effectively treat heel pain caused by plantar fasciitis and eliminate recurrence too. Stretching with this innovative tool takes less than five minutes a day.
The J Wedge was launched over the summer via JWedge.com, and locally at Wichita’s Fit For Life Expo in October. The Running Event will mark the product’s debut at a national, industry-specific level. Fellow exhibitors are encouraged to stop by the J Wedge booth and personally test the revolutionary treatment. To follow J Wedge’s live feed throughout The Running Event, follow them on Twitter “@TheJWedge” or like them on Facebook “J Wedge”.
