CLEARWATER, Fla., June 24, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Data Age Business Systems, developer of PawnMaster, the industry-leading pawn management software, is pleased to announce the onboarding of Jackie Garcia as Corporate Trainer.
Jackie started working in the pawn industry in 2001 as a sales and lending associate for Value Pawn. Over the years she rose through the ranks and was promoted to assistant manager. She quickly fell in love with the company, culture, and teamwork in her 10-year tenure with Value. "Being able to help customers solidified this industry as the career of my choice," Jackie states.
After Value Pawn, she went to La Familia where she played an integral part in the opening of the first store in Orlando. Shortly after, she continued her journey in the Pawn Industry and eventually found her way to working closely with John Thedford, founder of Smart Financial. She was the corporate trainer while serving at SMART, overseeing the training of over 500 employees. That's when she was introduced to PawnMaster. "Pawnmaster was the POS system used in all SMART Financial stores. While working for SMART, I became intimately familiar with PawnMaster, I was also a key figure in the creation and development of SMART Nation which is the online training tool used by SMART Financial," Jackie shares.
"When the opportunity to work for Data Age presented itself, I jumped on the chance," Jackie continued. She believed her 19 years of experience in the pawn industry gave her unique insight into other POS systems and the needs of Data Age's clients.
What Jackie is most looking forward to in her new venture is growth, and CEO of Data Age, Len Summa, has no doubt that Jackie will find just that and exceed expectations in her performance. "Jackie has been in the industry for many years and has worked for some of the top leaders in the industry. Her in-depth knowledge of the industry along with her knowledge of PawnMaster will have an immediate impact on our existing and new clients."
Jackie has three main goals for this new chapter in her career: to create an environment where her team can thrive, to be able to personally grow and flourish within the company, and to assure that every customer she comes in contact with has a remarkable learning experience. "I look forward to the new challenge that working more closely with Data Age can bring me," she shares.
