Jamboree Hires Jeree Glasser-Hedrick as Its First Northern California Vice President
New position focuses on expansion of NoCal operations in response to expanding development activity for state's second largest nonprofit affordable housing developer.
IRVINE, Calif., June 7, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Jamboree Housing Corporation announced today that Jeree Glasser-Hedrick has been named to the company's new position of Northern California Vice President. In this role, Hedrick-Glasser will oversee the expansion of operations in Northern California, supporting Jamboree's mission to deliver a diversity of high-quality affordable housing and services that transform lives and strengthen communities.

Archuleta pointed out that Jamboree first began to acquire and develop affordable housing in Northern California in the late 1990s. Today, Jamboree's housing portfolio in this region of the state alone includes more than 2,000+ units for families, seniors and those with special needs at 16 properties in six counties – with an additional 169 units already in the development pipeline over the next two years. Hedrick-Glasser starts her new role with the state's second largest nonprofit affordable housing developer on June 17.
"Given my deep roots in Northern California, I'm so pleased to join Jamboree's effort to expand housing opportunities for all in the area," said Glasser-Hedrick who has worked in affordable housing at the federal, state, and local levels of government as well as in the private sector and running her own consulting company. In 2018, then Governor Edmond G. Brown, Jr. appointed her to serve as Director of Business Development and Government Affairs at the California Housing Finance Agency (CalHFA). In addition to her work at CalHFA, she was appointed by former Treasurer John Chiang to serve as a Deputy Treasurer at the State Treasurer's Office where she oversaw the California Debt Limit Allocation Committee (CDLAC) and the California Tax Credit Allocation Committee (CTCAC), and concurrently served as the Treasurer's representative on the pension boards of both the California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS) and California State Teachers' Retirement System (CalSTRS). While also at the Treasurer's Office, she served as Executive Director of the California Debt Limit Allocation Committee (CDLAC).
Prior to that, she was a principal at JLG Consulting and held multiple positions at the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency, including program manager, senior housing finance analyst, and management analyst. Glasser-Hedrick was finance analyst at USA Properties Fund, a presidential management fellow at the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and public policy and planning analyst at the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG). Glasser-Hedrick holds a master's degree in Urban Planning from the University of California Los Angeles, and a bachelor's degree in Economics from Santa Clara University.
