James Scott Farrin Lawyer Anabel Rosa Elected to Board of Governors for the NC Advocates for Justice
The North Carolina Advocates for Justice (NCAJ) recently elected James Scott Farrin personal injury attorney Anabel Rosa to the Board of Governors where she will serve to further the NCAJ's mission to protect individual rights in North Carolina.
DURHAM, N.C., Dec. 10, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Anabel Rosa, personal injury attorney and Shareholder at the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin, was recently elected to the Board of Governors of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice (NCAJ).* The NCAJ is a nonpartisan association of legal professionals that is dedicated to protecting the interests and civil rights of North Carolinians via advocacy work in the NC state legislature, development of legal publications and professional development seminars for attorneys, and administration of public outreach initiatives to enhance public understanding of the U.S. legal system. Rosa has served the NCAJ in many different capacities throughout the years. As a member of the NCAJ Board of Governors, she will help set work and administration policies, appoint executive management, and oversee the mission of the NCAJ to protect individual rights through community, education, and advocacy.

In addition to being elected to the NCAJ Board of Governors, Rosa currently serves on the organization's Diversity Committee, where she has been a driving force of NCAJ's immigration division and efforts to help Hispanics and Latinos update legal documents pro bono. Rosa's history with the NCAJ also includes active participation in the Latino Affairs Division where she has served as executive secretary, chair, and division chair earning her this division's NCAJ Order of Service Award in 2017 and 2018.
Rosa's outstanding work and efforts towards using her talents and skills to help others has recently been recognized via two other recent honors. This year, she has been inducted into the 2019 North Carolina Pro Bono Honor Society for providing more than 50 hours of pro bono legal services to clients in 2019, and she has also received the North Carolina Bar Association's Citizen Lawyer Award.
