“G.A.W.”: a heartfelt read about a man’s passion to navigate the lost youth in their search for clarity and deliverance in God for their wrongdoings. “G.A.W.” is the creation of published author James D. Joyce, a dedicated family man and servant of the Lord. His most important accomplishment was being a teacher for a juvenile school system, while simultaneously participating in a Bible study program for incarcerated youths with his wife for over three decades.

Joyce shares, “Children are the foundation of our society, and when they lose their way, we must help them find it again. GAW is a story of a man’s journey to help incarcerated youths find peace and repentance for the crimes they have committed. In order to do this, he exposed the children to the mercy of the Lord through his jail ministry work and showed them how they have the power to change the course of their own lives. Throughout the novel, various stories detail not only the obstacles the children face in their daily lives but also how finding the Lord has helped improved their circumstances.”

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, James D. Joyce’s new book is a beautiful reminder that no youth is helpless. These young people may cause problems but they can be helped if one lends their hands and ears to the confused hearts.
