“These patents are a mark of GrowPath’s determination to create and innovate beyond the competition. They’re a culmination of our years of experience trying to perfect tools and processes for effective case management,” James S. Farrin said.
DURHAM, N.C. (PRWEB) March 28, 2019
On February 5, James S. Farrin, founder and owner of one of the largest plaintiffs’ firms in North Carolina, the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin, was granted his first patent for his work with GrowPath, a legal case management software company headquartered in Durham, North Carolina.
Farrin’s patent, D839,903, relates to the original design of the staff directory page in the GrowPath software, and is one of five new patents GrowPath received between January 15 and February 19 — continuing its trend of accomplishing what no other legal case management software company has achieved.
“These patents are a mark of GrowPath’s determination to create and innovate beyond the competition. They’re a culmination of our years of experience trying to perfect tools and processes for effective case management,” Farrin said.
Farrin’s firm is nationally recognized for being innovative, from its marketing campaigns to its organizational systems and innovative use of technology. He and GrowPath founder Eric Sanchez created GrowPath to address the insufficiencies that existing legal software could not, and did not, fulfill.
The Law Offices of James Scott Farrin developed GrowPath to streamline intake and case management initially for their own use. After nationwide industry interest, GrowPath is now its own separate company and entity.
These accomplishments follow on the heels of six previously issued patents in early January 2019, and add to GrowPath’s already robust intellectual property portfolio — 14 patents in total, with several more pending.
“We believe in innovation, not only in the technology within the application, but in the design of the application – its appearance, its layout, what users experience while operating within it,” said Tara Williams, a vice president at GrowPath, attorney-shareholder at Farrin’s firm, and inventor on several of GrowPath’s patents.
Farrin’s firm focuses on fostering a culture of innovation and to improve on what isn’t working, to massive success. The Law Offices of James Scott Farrin has recovered over $950 million for over 42,000 clients since 1997*, and it hasn’t slowed down. GrowPath has boosted the firm, and offers the potential to have a successful growth trajectory in its own right. Patenting software technology is part of the GrowPath team’s strategy to make it the preferred legal case management software in the industry.
