Beverly Hills, CA (PRWEB) January 24, 2014 -- Investor Jamie McCourt, owner of venture capital firm Jamie Enterprises, has announced a $25,000 grant that was made late last month to support the 2014 UNICEF Ball fund campaign.
Said Jamie: “I am happy to support the extraordinarily effective work of UNICEF which is every day at work in 190 countries and territories around the world, saving and improving children’s lives.”
Jamie served as a leadership chair for the January 14th UNICEF Ball event, which was held last week at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. The event honored the contributions of humanitarian Ghada Irani and actor Michael Douglas, who serves as a UN Messenger of Peace.
Added Jamie: “It is a particular pleasure to recognize deeply caring UNICEF advocates like Ghada Irani and Michael Douglas.
