Jamienne Studley Joins APL’s Board of Advisors
Valparaiso, IN (PRWEB) July 28, 2016 -- Jamienne S. Studley has joined the Adjunct Professor Link (APL) Board of Advisors. An advocate for students, civil rights activist, and public engagement expert, Ms. Studley has served in the U.S. Department of Education as a deputy and acting general counsel, deputy and acting under secretary, and chair of the national advisory panel on accreditation.
Her impressive background in higher education also includes serving as President of Skidmore College, Associate Dean and Lecturer in Law at Yale Law School, and Board Member of the Association of American Colleges and Universities. She also taught as an adjunct professor at Stanford and UC Berkeley Law Schools.
Jamie graduated from Barnard College and Harvard Law School, and is currently an advisor to the Aspen Institute; national policy advisor to Beyond 12; and a consultant to colleges, universities and foundations, focusing on college completion, student and institutional success broadly defined, and leadership. Her vast knowledge of the higher education industry will prove an invaluable asset to the APL advisory board.
