LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz., Dec. 12, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Jana L. Hertz presents a no-nonsense, unapologetic look at surviving grief in her self-help book "Dam it! Just Let Me Grieve!: Stop the Platitudes! Start the Grieving!" (published by Balboa Press). Through Hertz's experience, readers will explore the universal experience of grief and loss and properly dealing with it. After marking her publishing debut with the book's release, the author is embarking on a marketing campaign to expand her book's reach.
After losing three family members in succession, Hertz shares that she had a grief breakdown. She felt helpless and thought that she was losing her mind. "My journey to write this book allowed the wound to heal, for which I am grateful," she says.
"Dam It! Just let me Grieve!" is about hope and support while someone is grieving, and offers practical help for bystanders, along with affirmations. The book takes a complicated subject and breaks it down into direct language, concepts and practical lists so people know what to do and what to avoid when dealing with grief.
"If each person who reads my book comes away with just one concept regarding grief and are helped and supported, then my goal for this book was accomplished," Hertz states.
