ANAHEIM, Calif., Oct. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Torikizoku USA Inc. will soft open TORIKIZOKU TO-GO Anaheim, the brand's first takeout-focused concept, on Friday, October 2, 2026, at Center Street Promenade in Downtown Anaheim.
The new format brings TORIKIZOKU's yakitori, rice bowls, and ramen into a fast-casual setting designed for convenient everyday dining.
Founded in 1985, TORIKIZOKU is Japan's No. 1 yakitori chain, with more than 600 locations across Japan. Following the opening of its first U.S. TORIKIZOKU restaurant in Torrance in 2025, Anaheim marks the brand's next step in Southern California and its first dedicated TO-GO concept.
Opening to the Public
Following advance previews, TORIKIZOKU TO-GO Anaheim is ready to welcome the public. The restaurant is designed for a range of occasions: a quick meal during a work break, a family outing, or an easy stop before a nearby game or a day at the area's theme parks. The menu and upbeat setting are approachable for all ages, with plenty for younger guests to get excited about.
Japanese-Style Teriyaki Chicken Starting Under $10
The signature Teriyaki Chicken Bowl features tender chicken glazed in a carefully prepared sauce, served over rice with colorful vegetables. The regular bowl is priced at $9.98, with a spicy version at $10.98. A generously portioned Mega Teriyaki Chicken is also available for guests looking for an even heartier option.
Chicken-Based Ramen Directed by Chef Yoshiyuki Maruyama
The ramen lineup was developed under the direction of Chef Yoshiyuki Maruyama, who led his restaurant to Michelin Bib Gourmand recognition. Centered on chicken-based broths, the menu includes Yuzu Shio Chicken, brightened with aromatic yuzu; rich Umami Miso; and a plant-based Vegan Miso option. Custom egg-free noodles complete each bowl, bringing a carefully crafted approach to a convenient format.

The menu also features Kizokuyaki, TORIKIZOKU's signature jumbo yakitori. Chicken is prepared and grilled with attention to each cut, then finished with the brand's signature sauce.
