She donated one hundred forty acres on Beehive Mountain, including a glacial cirque known today as The Bowl. It was the first donation to the Hancock County Trustees of Public Reservations and the second land trust in the nation. There is a memorial trail dedicated to her, in the vicinity of Sieur de Monts Springs.”
