Jeanette Bunn Travel To Go President Invites Travelers to an International Seattle Vacation
SAN DIEGO, CA (PRWEB) September 10, 2015 -- Travel To Go welcomes visitors to Seattle, where in fall, international celebrations are all the rage. With a quick trip to the Northwest, travelers can experience Italy, Croatia, and Germany from music to food to shopping. Never has it been so easy to learn about other cultures and try new things.
1. Italian Festival – Jeanette Bunn, Travel To Go President, knows that the Seattle Center is set to host this year’s Festa Italiana, as the community organization celebrates its 28th year. Festa Italiana strives to promote the arts, the food, and the culture that are uniquely Italian in the Pacific Northwest. This free festival is held on September 26th & 27th and features a celebrity chef headlining the lineup of cooking demonstrations, Sicilian puppetry, and a grape stomping competition. The food court and vendor market have been expanded this year as well. The goal is to provide entertainment, food, and a little bit of education to the entire family, and year after year, Festa Italiana does just that.
2. Croatia Fest – The 12th Annual Croatia Fest brings continuous live performances to the main stage of the Seattle Center Armory, October 3rd and 4th. The festival includes historical exhibits, cooking demonstrations, and crafts for kids. The authentic food is certainly a draw, and the seven food booths will offer traditional food, including meat sausage served on pita bread with red pepper sauce. Quincy’s Beer Garden will also be serving Karlovacko Pivo to accompany the fantastic food. Merchant vendors will have plenty of Croatian goods and souvenirs for purchase.
3. Oktoberfest – Nearby Kirkland is proud to present an authentic, Munich-style Oktoberfest, with a northwest twist. Three days of serious entertainment, games, food, contests, and beer await! Beer is served in the traditional 1 liter steins and both German imports and Northwest Craft brews are available. Jeanette Bunn recommends visitors gather around the fest tables and make new friends or watch the football game and play corn hole. Attendees can enjoy amazing German food from the Sausahehaus to include hot pretzels. Mark the calendar for September 25th through 27th and enjoy a little bit of Germany.
