Now, LiteSpeed Web Server and LiteSpeed Web ADC are available for installation within Jelastic PaaS with automatic vertical scaling, tunable horizontal scaling based on triggers, built-in billing and monitoring.
LiteSpeed Web Server (LSWS) is a high performance and low memory consumption web server with great scalability and a wide set of built-in features. This secure and easy-to-use server can handle thousands of concurrent connections with a small memory footprint. Due to benchmark tests, LiteSpeed performance can be up to ten times higher compared to the main competitors such as Apache and NGINX.
LiteSpeed Web Application Delivery Controller (LSADC) is a new generation high-performance layer 7 HTTP load balancer. LSADC technology is based on Edge Side Caching that allows it to fully assemble pages without internal access. The users can start with free licenses for LiteSpeed Web Server using up to 2GB per environment. Then the price will depend on the tiers according to resource usage (RAM and CPU). LiteSpeed Web ADC is charged hourly based on consumed external traffic.
