BELLEVUE, Wash., June 5, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Jennie Santoro, AIA, NCARB, has been named HNTB Corporation's Seattle architecture studio leader. Based in the firm's Bellevue office, Santoro oversees HNTB's growing staff of architects and structural engineers and additionally becomes the new client service leader for the Port of Seattle and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

Santoro, an NCARB certified registered architect, has worked for HNTB in Los Angeles, San Diego and Washington, D.C. She brings over a decade of experience with some of the nation's largest and most complex aviation projects, including Orlando International Airport, South Terminal Complex, Phase 1; United Airlines Terminal 7 and 8 Redevelopment at Los Angeles International Airport; and San Diego International Airport, Terminal 2 Expansion and Renovation. She also worked on HNTB projects at international airports in Seattle, San Francisco, Denver, Oakland, Hawaii and Bermuda.

Santoro earned master's and bachelor's degrees in architecture from the Catholic University of America, School of Architecture and Planning, in Washington, D.C.
Santoro is active in industry organizations including the Airport Consultants Council, Airport Cooperative Research Program, and American Institute of Architects. These affiliations included prestigious speaking engagements and competitions, as well as earning industry recognition with the 2018 ACC Board Chairs award and the 2014 Airport Business Magazine "40 Under 40" award.
Santoro is active in the community and passionate about mentorship, sharing her energy and expertise as part of HNTB's Spark Mentorship Program as well as the ACE Mentorship Program.
