Today, Ms. Brandenburg is responsible for ensuring that the Carle Foundation hospital is in compliance with the State of Illinois Level III Perinatal requirements, and the strategic growth and development of its obstetrical, maternal fetal medicine, neonatal intensive care and newborn services.
A six sigma green belt, Ms. Brandenburg is sought after for numerous speaking engagements on women’s health topics. Her resume includes project lead for the Healthy Babies Healthy Mom project by Quality Quest for Health of Illinois and project sponsor of a hospital for the March of Dimes “Big Five” project and her participation on the National Quality Forum committee in Washington DC for the endorsement of perinatal measures. As a dedicated proponent of women’s health services, Ms. Brandenburg continues to promote new and improved programs for women’s health.
