Entrepreneur selected to lead discussion on “Disruption Technology” panel titled “Women-Rockstars”

Jenzy, a foot-sizing and ecommerce app that helps parents purchase properly fitting footwear for young children (ages 0-6) online, today announced that one of its co-founders, Eve Ackerley, will be a panelist at Philly Music Fest and Rec Philly’s TECH Tour on September 28, 2018. The “Women-Rockstars” panel is the third stop on the music tour and will take place at 1776 in West Philadelphia from 4:30-6:30pm. Ms. Ackerley; Johanna Richardson of Meetup Pro; and Felicite Moorman, CEO at STRATIS IoT and BuLogics, will serve as panelists on the tour, discussing how women are using technology to disrupt various industries and the lessons they have learned along the way.

The inaugural day-long event will bring together the art and technology communities of Philadelphia to explore important topics at the intersection of culture and innovation. Each stop along the tour features discussions from prominent thought leaders, as well as performances by burgeoning local artists.

Jenzy is a Philadelphia-based foot-sizing and ecommerce technology startup that sizes young children’s feet through its app, revolutionizing the way parents shop for their kids’ shoes. Jenzy’s goal is to have all children in proper-fitting and developmentally appropriate shoes, setting them on the path for healthy feet and healthy lives. The idea for the company came about when Eve and Carolyn learned that 70 percent of kids are wearing the wrong shoe size, often because of growth spurts and sizing variability between brands.
