CONYERS, Ga., June 29, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Jett Thomas, an east coast artist with a knack for creative self expression, has completed her new book "Tommy and Chester: The Annual Rabbit Trail Run": a fun-spirited tale of two small town boys who love participating in summer activities.
Each year during Christmastime, Thomas' mother would take her to Downtown Boston to see the window displays of enchanted small-town scenes with children playing and people gathering in front of shops, stores, and post offices. These images would become the backdrop of her concept of art she calls Streetscapes, a three-dimensional multimedia sculpture of people, places, and things. It was developing the characters in each of these works of art that would eventually lead her to writing the stories about people of these towns. Identifying with the children in these display stages creates their tales of life's adventures and friendships.
Published by Page Publishing, Jett Thomas' adventurous tale brings her childhood memories to life with a clever mix of magic and imagination.
For the first time ever, best friends Tommy and Chester will be participating in The Annual Rabbit Trail Run, a go-cart race sponsored by the town, Thomas Place. The children compete against one another in a race through town with their homemade go-carts, using their building and engineering skills to create machines of their very own with a goal of turning out victorious with the championship cup, and their name and picture on the cover of the Thomas Place Times. With many responsibilities to complete before the race including raising their own admissions fees, Tommy and Chester learn that through cooperation, teamwork and support, they can achieve their goals. When the race concludes, a big lunch is served in the town square where everyone is rewarded for their hard work.
Readers who wish to experience this playful work can purchase "Tommy and Chester: The Annual Rabbit Trail Run" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes Store, Amazon, Google Play, or Barnes and Noble.
