Jewellery Making Supplier Cooksongold Still Sparkles, Say Customers
(PRWEB UK) 22 October 2013 -- The results of Cooksongold’s latest customer survey are in – and the jewellery making supplier has yet again garnered sparkling reviews from its website customers, as well as an award nomination from the British Jewellers’ Association.
The firm, which sells popular jewellery making supplies like PMC and Silver Art Clay, asked more than 1500 customers for feedback on its product and services in September.
The results were overwhelmingly positive. When asked whether they would recommend Cooksongold.com to friends, the majority scored ten out of ten – meaning they would unequivocally recommend it.
According to its customers, Cooksongold trumps competitors too, with nearly two thirds of those surveyed calling Cooksongold.com the ‘trade benchmark (the best around)’.
Particularly, high scores were given to the site’s speed, checkout process, its product images and its on-site knowledgebase - which features dozens of articles on jewellery making processes.
Cooksongold has been working to improve its social media channels recently, with Facebook ‘Design of the Week’ competitions, YouTube product videos, and its ‘Tool Tuesday’ Twitter feature.
The firm’s hard work has been well appreciated by customers, who gave its Facebook an impressive eight out of ten, and scored all other social profiles more than seven.
The survey also showed that Cooksongold’s jewellery making catalogues are popular with its online users. Nearly 60 per cent of website visitors use its bumper ‘Cook Book’ catalogue, or its mini product catalogues, to help choose products.
Adam Hunter, commercial manager at Cooksongold, said: “Our customers’ views are important to us – so we’re delighted that we’re getting so much right.”
“It’s great that so many customers say they’d recommend us, and that we’re the benchmark our competitors struggle to match.”
“But we’re not going letting the high praise go to our heads – these surveys exist to give our customers a platform to get their views heard.”
“So we’re taking all feedback on board and looking at ways we can make Cooksongold even better.”
Cooksongold asked customers which features they’d most like to see implemented on its website. Two of the most popular responses were jewellery making projects and videos.
“It’s clear customers see us as a helpful resource for jewellery making advice, as well as a place to get essential products like PMC, tools and findings.”
“So over the coming months, we’ll be doing lots of thinking about how we can give our customers more practical help with their jewellery making projects,” said Adam Hunter.
On top of the customer plaudits, The British Jewellers’ Association (BJA) has shortlisted Cooksongold for its Supplier of the Year award.
Voting is open to everyone – not just BJA members. Voting ends 22nd November. To vote for Cooksongold, visit: http://www.bja.org.uk/en/awards/vote-now/bja-supplier-of-the-year--vote-now/cookson-gold.cfm.
