HILLSBOROUGH, N.J., Oct. 15, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Creative marketing agency JK Design is marking its 34th year in business with a milestone reorganization of its executive team.
Founders Jerry and Barbara Kaulius have transitioned from their respective CEO and CHRO roles to become chairman and vice-chairwoman. They have appointed Martha Marchesi to lead the agency as CEO, Chris Pierson as president, and Mark Medeiros to the position of executive VP.
The moves are designed to support the agency's continued growth by strengthening core and emerging capabilities to align with client needs.
The Kauliuses will continue to be involved in key areas of the business and provide oversight of its financial health and business development.
"We're stepping back from our day-to-day management activities, but we are not stepping away from the agency," said Jerry Kaulius. "We're very confident that under the strong leadership of our new executive team, JK will continue to thrive."
CEO Marchesi—a veteran of such Madison Avenue agencies as Y&R, Grey, Saatchi & Saatchi, and Della Femina—was previously JK's chief creative officer and chief strategy officer. She brings more than 30 years of expertise in brand-building, messaging, strategy, and creative direction to her new role, where she is responsible for driving the company's strategic vision.

Medeiros has held a variety of positions over his 24-year tenure at JK, most recently as executive creative director. As executive VP, he is now responsible for interdisciplinary alignment across the agency, fostering a truly collaborative working culture, and ensuring coordination of all resources, timing, strategies, and processes.
