Joel Sheets of Tindall Corporation Appointed as Secretary/Treasurer of NPCA
Joel Sheets, Vice President and General Manager of the Utility Division at Tindall Corporation, was recently elected as the Secretary/Treasurer of the National Precast Concrete Association (NPCA). In this role, Joel will serve as the custodian of the books, papers, and records of NPCA, overseeing the financial affairs of the corporation in cooperation with the Chairman of the Board.
SPARTANBURG, S.C., Nov. 17, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Joel Sheets, Vice President and General Manager of the Utility Division at Tindall Corporation, was recently elected as the Secretary/Treasurer of the National Precast Concrete Association (NPCA). In this role, Joel will serve as the custodian of the books, papers, and records of NPCA, overseeing the financial affairs of the corporation in cooperation with the Chairman of the Board.

As Secretary/Treasurer, Sheets will be responsible for overseeing the financial affairs of the NPCA organization and presenting details at each meeting of the Board of Directors for the next year. The Secretary/Treasurer also serves as chair of the NCPA Audit Committee.
Sheets has been highly involved in both NPCA and the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) for more than a decade. For the last two years, he has served on the executive committee for NPCA, and he has served on numerous committees for both organizations. Notably, Sheets has served on the QA Committee, Utility Structure Committee, Joint Products Committee, and Outreach Committee for NPCA. Sheets was also one of the charter members of the NPCA/PCI Joint Taskforce, a group dedicated to promoting synergy, cooperation, and alignment between the organizations.
Sheets joined the Tindall team in 2002, serving as a project manager for prestressed concrete applications at Tindall's Spartanburg, South Carolina facility. By 2008, he was appointed as the General Manager of the Utility Division. In his current role as Vice President and General Manager of the Utility Division, Sheets leads a team of more than 80 associates. From their PCI- and NPCA-certified plant, the Utility Division delivers innovative precast concrete solutions for a wide range of industries, including commercial, industrial, manufacturing, and more.
