WorkReduce Inc, a data-driven platform for media buying talent, today announced that John Durham, chief executive officer and managing general partner of San Francisco-based marketing consulting firm Catalyst S+F, is joining the company’s board of advisors. Durham’s dynamic career spans over 23 years, in the marketing and advertising space.

Prior to Catalyst S+F, Durham held many roles in marketing and advertising including president and chief marketing and sales officer at Jumpstart Automotive Media, where he analyzed sales and marketing operations, recognized untapped potential, and precipitated transformation for a national online automotive sales advertising vehicle. Durham has also served as executive vice president of Carat Fusion where he spearheaded North American development and planning for branding and direct response business for the digital marketing division of the world’s 4th largest advertising agency. Prior to his work with Carat, Durham held executive leadership positions with Winstar Interactive Media and MapQuest.

“John is revered in the industry; his expertise and understanding are unparalleled,” said WorkReduce CEO Brian Dolan. “As the global economic contraction has forced agencies to reduce staff and cut operational costs, we are seeing skyrocketing demand for WorkReduce’s staff augmentation services and technical resources. It is a pivotal moment for the company and John will be invaluable in helping guide our long term strategy and growth.”

WorkReduce’s board of advisors includes John Lane, former [x+1] executive; Lloyd Lee, co-founder of Pragmatic; Drew Wahl, former AKQA GM; Stuart Weintraub, cofounder of Embarcadero Partners.

“More than ever before, agencies desperately need a flexible partner to fill talent gaps, minimize costs and deliver efficient, quality work,” said Durham. “More and more agencies are turning to WorkReduce to optimize performance and operations. I truly believe this company is shaping how the future agency operates and I’m excited to be a part of its journey.”
