John Galioto Joins West Monroe Partners’ Technology Practice
New York City, New York (PRWEB) January 06, 2015 -- West Monroe Partners, a full-service North American business and technology consultancy, today announced that John Galioto has joined the firm as a senior director in its Technology practice, based in New York City. He has more than 25 years of experience in strategic management consulting, application development, and system integration for Fortune 500 companies worldwide.
A recognized expert in lean and agile methodologies, Galioto will provide leadership and experienced guidance for clients implementing technology solutions to improve operations, differentiate service, and drive other business goals. His global experience spans the Americas, Europe, Asia, Australia, and Africa, and he has worked with clients across an array of industries, including financial services, insurance, education, transportation, media, and others.

Galioto joins West Monroe Partners from Cyrus Innovation, a New York-based agile software development consultancy for which he was chief operating officer. In addition to optimizing business operations, he also delivered services to clients in the financial services, education, multimedia, and other industries.

Galioto’s more than a decade of executive management experience also includes roles as North American CEO/managing director for Valtech, a French provider of agile/lean-based software development, training, and consulting services for multinational businesses; COO/managing director for ThoughtWorks, a London and New York-based IT consultancy with a diverse global clientele; and vice president in the trade-finance product and services group for American Management Systems, Inc. (later acquired by CGI Group).
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from State University of New York at Albany and a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance with a concentration in International Business from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
