John Olson Recipient of EDSF Scholarship Honoring Chuck Forman
Toronto, ON (PRWEB) August 14, 2013 -- John Olson has been awarded the first annual “Charles H. ‘Chuck’ Forman – Crawford Technologies” Scholarship through EDSF (Electronic Document Scholarship Foundation). This new scholarship was created to honor the contributions Chuck Forman made throughout his career towards Crawford Technologies and the industry. Chuck recently retired from his position at Crawford Technologies as Senior Support Analyst and Trainer and is courageously battling cancer.
“John’s achievements are outstanding, to say the least. EDSF could not have selected a more deserving candidate for this scholarship,” said Ernie Crawford, President of Crawford.
John Olson is completing his Masters degree in Communications Design at Pratt University
in New York City and some of his accomplishments are:
• 3.9 GPA
• Studying typographic design, digital development including web and motion design and print production
• Participated in a trans-national design course with a team of students from the Netherlands, and the university awarded him a scholarship to travel to Holland this summer to meet the team and participate in several workshops
• Interned at Graham Hanson Design in Manhattan
The “Charles H. ‘Chuck’ Forman – Crawford Technologies Scholarship” will award $1,000 annually to a bright, up-and-coming full-time student committed to pursuing a career in the document management and graphic communications marketplace.
