DENVER, June 3, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Jones & Keller, P.C., a Denver-based business law firm, announced executive changes for 2019. Charles Wern has been appointed president of the firm, succeeding Brad Hamilton who continues on as a member of the firm's Executive Committee. Paul Vorndran and Nicole Westbrook have been appointed as new members of the Committee, joining continuing members Kristin Godfrey and Cyrus Rajabi.
Hamilton said securing the next generation of firm leaders had been a goal under his leadership. With the recent addition of seven shareholders, Hamilton relinquished the reins with the firm on strong footing. "We are set up for succession and future growth," he said. Hamilton managed the steady growth of the firm while maintaining a full-time corporate and transaction law practice working with industry leaders in major construction projects, oil and gas, and international transactions.
Wern brought his business transaction and tax planning practice to Jones & Keller in 2015. A native of Ohio, with an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University, he developed his extensive expertise at firms in New York City and Ohio before settling in Denver. He continues to serve as tax counsel to clients, other attorneys, and accountants in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and other business transaction matters.
