Jorge Ontiveros, a dedicated husband and father, has completed his new book “Dawn: Alborada”: a masterful account filled with poems and stories that speak of life’s magnificence and emotion.
Jorge writes, “I felt it for many centuries. Someone told me that she is coming, and I waited for her in an old jail, where there is any exit. It was early morning, when the dream wants to conquer you and you fight against the calm: I, with my old scimitar winner of thousands of battles, and in the distance, my old father with a basket full of rocks and his sling. When the death appears, I attacked her with my weapon, and she defended herself with her scythe, producing sparks from the wall. When the steels joined, it was a true explosion. My father threw a rain of rocks to defend me from the death, and she left him laid out in the floor, with the scythe she womb his tore. I had the death on the floor, panting and hauling air, and she said, “This time I didn’t come for you…but for do not leave in vain, I take your father and your thirteen years girl.’”
