Josh Hayes will be riding the Squid Hunter Yamaha R6 as he pursues the all-time wins record.
ORLANDO, Fla., July 29, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Squid Hunter Racing is on a mission to assist four-time AMA Superbike Champion Josh Hayes in setting the record for most MotoAmerica wins. Their journey to the top continues at the MotoAmerica round at New Jersey Motorsports Park in New Jersey September 9-11, 2022 and then at the Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama September 23-25, 2022.
"I'm excited to take this Squid Hunter team's Yamaha R6, which has already proven to be a winner at both Daytona and VIR, to the last two rounds of MotoAmerica and see if we can end the season by making a little splash again," says Hayes.
Riding for Squid Hunter Racing, Josh Hayes won a Supersport race earlier this season at VIRginia International Raceway in May 2022. The veteran Hayes placed second in the following race battling closely with Josh Herrin neck and neck to the finish line.

Both the Squid Hunter team and Hayes are excited to attack the final two rounds of MotoAmerica. Both parties' are looking to add to their resumes against championship-level competition.
