MT. LAUREL, N.J., Sept. 30, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA) earned a Power of Associations Silver Award from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) for its successful JPMA Cares initiative.
Founded in 2021 by JPMA, JPMA Cares is a charitable organization that contributes to the long-term success of babies and young children by reducing barriers to healthy development, ensuring fundamental needs are met, and promoting a safe and nurturing environment to learn and grow.
The organization works to improve outcomes for all children and is intentional about meeting the needs of babies and young children. For some, the need is products or education, but for others, fundamental needs like housing, food and basic medical care are not being met. As JPMA Cares secures the right resources, the organization partners with like-minded charities to distribute these resources to people and places in high need. JPMA Cares has partnered with the Injury Free Coalition for Kids on its annual National Injury Prevention Day; Cradles to Crayons; Family Promise; and the United Nations Foundation to name a few.
"Congratulations to JPMA and JPMA Cares for exemplifying the impact associations have on the industries and professions they represent, and on society at large," said ASAE President and CEO Michelle Mason, FASAE, CAE. "It's always so incredibly satisfying to see associations going above and beyond their everyday mission to change the world. We're very proud to spotlight this award-winning initiative."
"On behalf of our Board of Directors, staff, donors and volunteers, we appreciate this recognition of JPMA Cares from the American Society of Association Executives," said Executive Director of JPMA and JPMA Cares Lisa Trofe.
