The Global Custodian Industry Leaders Awards named JTC “Fund Administration Challenger of the Year” in recognition of the firm’s growth and international presence

“This award is a reflection of the ambitious plans that JTC has globally, including seven acquisitions last year, of which five were in the US,”

At a ceremony in New York City on November 17th, 2022, JTC was named “Fund Administration Challenger of the Year” by the Global Custodian Industry Leaders Awards. The award recognizes firms that have significantly increased their international presence and are seen to be on a successful growth trajectory.

Sponsored by Global Custodian, the leading magazine covering the international securities services business, the Global Custodian Industry Leaders awards honor the fund services community and recognize outstanding performers from Global Custodian’s Prime Brokerage, Hedge Fund Administration (HFA), Private Equity Fund Administration (PEFA), Mutual Fund Administration (MFA) and Exchange Traded Fund Administration (ETFA) surveys.

Since establishing its US footprint with the acquisition of NES Financial in 2020, JTC has made several additional acquisitions that have helped to strengthen its international presence, including acquiring US-based firms Essential Fund Services, SALI Fund Services, and Segue Partners. The company also recently launched its fund administration offering in Ireland. Offering an award-winning investor portal with 24/7 access, customizable solutions, and a global reach, JTC enables funds of all sizes to achieve greater efficiency, reduced operational risk, and higher investor confidence.

In North America, JTC works with institutional and private clients to provide purpose-built solutions with a global reach, allowing US-based clients to expand overseas and international clients to enter US markets. By offering specialized technology-based solutions to the greater market, JTC provides unprecedented support and scalability for clients of all sizes.

“This award is a reflection of the ambitious plans that JTC has globally, including seven acquisitions last year, of which five were in the US,” said Wouter Plantenga, ICS Head of Group Client Services. “As a FTSE 250 listed firm with over 1,400 staff and over $200 billion under administration, we already have a significant global presence and we’re very grateful to Global Custodian for recognizing our continued development.”
