Judith Dempsey Releases Debut Book ‘A Tale of Two Brothers’
KITTY HAWK, N.C. (PRWEB) June 24, 2016 -- Orville and Wilbur Wright, also known as the Wright brothers, are symbols of encouragement. Famed for inventing the airplane, the brothers have proven that an idea, such as a flying transport, can enrich the lives of others. Judith Dempsey’s interest in the Wright brothers made her to write her first book “A Tale of Two Brothers” (published by Trafford Publishing).
Dempsey revisits the story of the two brothers from Dayton, Ohio, who believed they could construct a heavier than air powered machine which could fly. After many attempts and failures, the Wright brothers succeeded in solving several main issues and caused an airplane to fly for the first time.
“A Tale of Two Brothers” is based upon the writings of the brothers and other experts in the field of aviation. “Flight is an important mode of transportation and people need to be inspired to achieve their own potential even in the face of numerous difficulties,” Dempsey says.
An excerpt from the book “A Tale of Two Brothers:”
For the first time in recorded history an airplane, by its own power and under the control of a pilot, have rolled on a metal-capped wooden track, rose into the air, and landed on the ground at the same elevation from which it started. This was the first time in the history of man that a human had successfully flown a heavier-than-air, powered machine. This was indeed man’s first small step toward space. That brief flight changed forever the course of human history.
