Junior League of Austin Hosts First Bunny Brunch
Austin, TX (PRWEB) March 24, 2016 -- On March 5, 2016 at the UT Golf Club, the Junior League of Austin held their first Bunny Brunch, a fundraiser to help the group fulfill its mission of promoting volunteerism and developing the potential of women, while making a positive impact in the local community.
Capital Asset Exchange and Trading was one sponsor of the event. The company is the largest capital asset trading platform in the world. They match buyers and sellers, and present capital assets in a detailed way so that buyers can compare potential purchases and make informed decisions. The Junior League has been a part of Austin since 1901, and has contributed millions of dollars to the community over the years. The group ran a thrift shop, for fundraising and as a community service, for almost a century. Each year they sponsor A Christmas Affair, a holiday shopping market to raise funds for the community. They are known for their cookbooks, which have won raves from critics and cooks alike. They also own The Square on Parkcrest Shopping Center, which is home to many tenants. The net revenues from this center help to support the League’s work.
The Bunny Brunch was a day full of fun, and included children’s crafts, a petting zoo, live music, and an Easter egg hunt. And, of course, the Easter Bunny made a special appearance. The Brunch is the latest addition to the League’s fundraising efforts.
