SYDNEY, August 8, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- For budding engineers, scientists, musicians, actors, dancers, and entrepreneurs, ages three and up, The Magical Musical Thingy-Majigger reintroduces traditional, hands-on sensory activities and creates an opportunity for children to be more imaginative and inventive. Today, Kai G toys launched their innovative product on Kickstarter with the hopes of raising $35,000 to bring The Magical Musical Thingy-Majigger to market.
The Magical Musical Thingy-Majigger's design calls for limitless combinations, all driven by imagination. The instrumental toy consists of a trumpet and recorder mouthpiece, sound flare, and rainbow-colored body pieces. Children can simply twist and connect the pieces, which can each rotate 360 degrees, together to create all sorts of 'thingy-majiggers'.
STEM Education, a term initiated by the National Science Foundation, is an educational approach, which focuses on one or more of the four disciplines of science, technology, engineering, and math. The Magical Musical Thingy-Majigger was designed to expose STEM learning in children starting at an earlier age as it is important to help instill an attitude of inquiry from an early age. Cause and effect, problem-solving, critical thinking, and logical reasoning are just a few of the principles that will be introduced to children as young as age three with the instrumental toy.
"I was watching my four-year-old son, Kai, create different types of musical instruments out of plumbing pipes and giving his creations all sorts of funny names," explained Creator Stuart McArthur when asked how his invention came to be. "Kai made an instrument by connecting 45-degree bend pipes together. He was able to create all sorts of shapes out of it, and he called one of them The Magical Musical Thingy-Majigger. He was having loads of fun and laughing and playing and making sounds. That's when I decided that I wanted to bring this product to other families so that they too get to have the same fun experiences and magical moments that we've experienced."
The Magical Musical Thingy-Majigger comes with two different mouthpieces. Children may start with the recorder mouthpiece and then progress to the trumpet mouthpiece, which takes more effort and perseverance to play. The 'Magical' learning toy is currently available for pre-order starting at 35% off the retail price. To learn more visit, http://pr.go2.fund/mmtm.
