Kamatani Cloud Prevails in IPR of U.S. Patent No. 6,873,940 Initiated by Unified Patents
Kamatani Cloud LLC has prevailed on all 41 claims challenged in an inter partes review initiated by Unified Patents, Inc. that challenged the validity of U.S. Patent No. 6,873,940 titled "Measuring Method and Measuring Service System Using Communication Means."

Unified Patents challenged the validity of Kamatani Cloud's U.S. Patent No. 6,873,940 titled "Measuring Method and Measuring Service System Using Communication Means" in Unified Patents Inc. v. Kamatani Cloud, LLC (Case No. IPR2017-01370). The Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) affirmed the validity of all 41 patent claims. Prevailing in the IPR is an important milestone in Kamatani Cloud's patent licensing campaign according to General Patent Corporation.
