Kane County Attorneys Rename Law Firm as Serrano Hanson
GENEVA, Ill. (PRWEB) September 05, 2018 -- Attorneys Lidia E. Serrano and Marissa R. Hanson are excited to announce that they have renamed their firm as Serrano Hanson. The firm is primarily a family law practice, while also offering services for real estate law, criminal defense cases, and estate planning.
The firm is located in Geneva, Illinois, and represents clients throughout Kane, DeKalb, DuPage, and Kendall counties. The firm provides services for both English and Spanish language speakers.

Attorney Lidia Serrano helped establish the firm in 2003, which was originally named Aguiñaga and Serrano. She focuses her practice on family law, divorce, estate planning, and real estate law.
Serrano received a bachelor’s in psychology and political science from DePaul University in 1996 and a juris doctor from the Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2001. She is an active member of the Kane County Bar Association and the past co-chair for the Kane County Family Law Committee. She is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association.
Attorney Marissa Hanson joined the firm as an associate attorney in 2011 and became a partner in 2014. She practices family law, real estate law, and criminal defense.
Hanson received a bachelor’s in political science from the University of Arizona in 2004 and a juris doctor from the Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2009. She is an active member of the Kane County Bar Association and the current co-chair for the Kane County Family Law Committee. She is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association.
