Kathy Trant’s new memoir tells of losing husband during 9/11
TAMPA, Fla. (PRWEB) June 10, 2015 -- On September 11, 2001, the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City were attacked by the terrorist group known as al-Qaeda. This attack took the lives of almost 3,000 people, including the life of Kathy Trant’s husband, Danny.
Trant describes her life before, during, and following 9/11 and the loss of her husband in her new memoir, “Overcoming Loss and Embracing Hope: A 9/11 Widow’s Story” (published by AuthorHouse).
Trant says she was unhappy in life until she met Danny, the man she would one day marry. Once they were married, they had three children and a life Trant says she loved. This all changed in an instant, when Trant’s husband was killed in the attack on the World Trade Center.
Throughout “Overcoming Loss and Embracing Hope,” readers will see the love and life Trant and Danny shared with their three children. Trant then gives readers an intimate look at the long recovery process of coming to terms with the loss of her husband.
“It took me years to crawl out from the wreckage of that event,” Trant says, “and though I can’t say I’m healed, I consider myself a survivor.”
