RURAL VALLEY, Pa., Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- KB Equipment Rental is continuing its longstanding commitment to supporting local organizations and first responders, recently raising funds for the Rural Valley Volunteer Fire Department during the Shannock Valley Community Festival and donating the use of its 45-foot aerial lift for tree work at the department's newest facility along Route 85.
The donated equipment allowed the department to safely complete necessary tree work while avoiding what would otherwise have been a significant rental expense.
The effort is just the latest example of KB Equipment Rental's commitment to giving back. The company regularly sponsors charitable causes, supports local first responder organizations and community events, and offers year-round discounts to veterans and first responders.
"We're fortunate to be in a position where we can help out, and we believe supporting the people and organizations that make our communities stronger is simply the right thing to do," said Kyleigh Reesman, who owns and operates KB Equipment Rental with her husband, Brandan Reesman. "The volunteer fire departments in our area do so much for all of us, and we're proud to be able to give back whenever we can."

The Reesmans are lifelong local residents and Dayton natives with deep roots in the area. Their family businesses include MBR Repair and ML Reesman Trucking, with the family's local business history dating back to 1966.
Located in the Atwood/Elderton area, approximately one mile from Keystone Lake just off Route 210, KB Equipment Rental offers equipment for homeowners, contractors, farmers, businesses and other customers. Its fleet includes skid steers, mini excavators, aerial lifts, stand-on mini skid steers and dump trailers, along with attachments such as forestry mulchers and post pounders. The company also provides equipment service and repair.
KB has also built a reputation for competitive rental rates. For example, a new 75-horsepower Kubota SVL75 track loader rents for approximately $275 per day at KB, compared with approximately $355 per day advertised locally through a Kubota dealership.
"We work hard to keep our rates competitive while providing customers with clean, dependable, well-maintained equipment and the service they deserve," Reesman said. "We want people to feel like they're getting a great value when they rent from us."
Customer service is another key part of the company's reputation. KB offers equipment delivery and takes the time to ensure customers understand how to safely and properly operate their rentals. Customers have consistently highlighted the company's friendly service, clean equipment and willingness to go above and beyond in five-star Google and Facebook reviews.
KB Equipment Rental is BBB accredited, a member of the American Rental Association, and was recently recognized as a Leader Times Best of the Best Gold winner for Equipment Rental. Earlier this year, the company also awarded four scholarships to graduating seniors in Armstrong and Indiana counties.
For the Reesmans, community involvement extends beyond their own company.
"We're proud to be homegrown and to have the opportunity to serve the same communities that have supported our family and our businesses for generations," Reesman said. "Whether it's helping a local fire department, supporting another small business, sponsoring an event or simply helping a customer get a job done, we're always going to look for ways to help."
KB Equipment Rental's support of the Rural Valley Volunteer Fire Department is another example of that philosophy — putting local resources to work for the benefit of the people and organizations that serve the community.
