KeepTree Modernizes Pen Pal Program by Utilizing Video
New York, NY (PRWEB) January 09, 2014 -- Today KeepTree, Inc. announced the launch of a pilot video pen pal program allowing students from participating schools to share private videos with each other. The first four schools participating in the program are located in Merrick, New York and Prague, Czech Republic. The video pen pal program allows kids to share information about what it is like to grow up in their respective countries, the different subjects they learn about in school and unique aspects about each others’ culture. By utilizing video, the kids create a much more personalized connection with each other and get to put a face and voice behind their pals.
The initial pilot program was launched last month and plans to expand in the 1st Quarter of 2014 are currently in progress. KeepTree has already received requests from schools in Japan and the UK also interested in participating. By utilizing the KeepTree platform, the participating schools create their own private “Tree” where videos created can be monitored by teachers and parents. The KeepTree private video sharing platform gives students a powerful tool to communicate with and learn about cultures all around the world. In addition to the pen pals, ESL (English Second Language) students in New York are documenting their English learning process. They can then share their videos with friends and family in the United States as well as back in their native countries.
