This allowed them to make remarkable gains cleaning up both their historical and current missed or rejected submissions and improve their submission rates for 2015 and 2016 dates of service. Through the transition process, KelseyCare also determined they had not been appropriately staffed and needed additional dedicated staff to work on risk submissions. However, because the Babel interface is easy to use, less senior staff could be utilized, resulting in a cost savings. Additionally, the risk submissions team is now able to provide executive leadership with insight into their business through on demand reconciliation reports.
