FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., Sept. 16, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Amerisure is pleased to announce the promotion of Kendall Clavin to the role of regional vice president (RVP) of the west region. In this new position, Clavin will lead underwriting operations and relationship management activities for the west region by achieving underwriting results that support Amerisure's strategic and operational objectives and the growth and continued success of its Partners For Success® agencies.

Clavin brings over 15 years of underwriting and sales experience to this role, as well as knowledge of each of the Core Service Centers (CSC) in Amerisure's west region. He began his career with Amerisure in 2012 as a marketing underwriter in the St. Louis CSC and was subsequently promoted to CSC manager, taking responsibility for Arizona and Utah in 2016. Clavin was then promoted to assistant vice president of field marketing and underwriting in 2020 where he assumed increasing oversight of the Texas office in addition to Arizona and Utah. Most recently, Clavin has been instrumental to the company's state expansion initiatives in Oklahoma and Colorado.
Clavin began his insurance career as a marketing representative for Federated Insurance and worked as an account executive with Sentry Insurance prior to joining Amerisure. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from William Woods University.
